I have just read Susan's blog (My daughter), and she has asked that people think about me as I start my chemo. The response has been very heart warming, and I thank everyone for their prayers and support. I am going into hospital this morning to have a 'Port" fitted, this will be just under the skin and the chemo will be fed directly into it. Then tomorrow I have my first dose of chemo. I will be taking stitiching in with me, but the light is not good enough for me to work on LHN SAL . I promise as soon as I feel up to it I will enclose photos to let you see that I still do stitch.

surgery
Thank you to every one that has sent good wishes for my operation. Part of the breast was removed and some lymph nods. After a biopsy the breast is clear but the lymph nodes are showing signs of cancerous cells. I will have to have chemo on these, but this wont happen for a couple fo weeks. I see the surgeon on Thursday and he will refer me to a oncologist. At the moment I am not able to stitch on my Neighbourhood piece, it is too heavy for my arm to suuport so i am just doing very small pieces at the moment Will keep you posted. thank you to every one.
