Will try again. Here is an update of the SAL that Susan and Holly are stitching with me. I ran out of floss and had to wait for my store to order it. But I am back on track.

Not sure where I am going wrong, but the picture of my update did not make it. Will try again. This is Daisy that I have finished recently. I started it in Tx in January.

I started this way back in 2009? finally finished it on Saturday whoopie. One less in my UFO basket. And time to return to the one I started in TX. Not sure if I have done this right once I press publish there is nothing that I can do about it.

I will never learn. I only bought one skein of thread used in "Snow White" Sal.

Have used it all and the store has run out and is waiting for more to come in

Stitching with Susan & Holly

When Susan, Holly and I all met up just after Christmas we decided to stitch this special piece. I am using Lagana 25 count Moss Green and stitching it with Weeks Dye Works no 1086 Icicle.

We agreed to start today (Sunday) I know Susan and Holly will both have theirs completed long before I do, but I will keep sttiching and show you my progress as time goes on

San Francisco

Today my husband and I went to Alameda,(which is the Island next to Oakland off SanFrancisco.) Our purpose for going was to visit "Needle in a Haystack" They have just recently moved there. It took some finding but was worth the trouble. It is a very large store with lots of "goodies" I could have spent hours there, but unfortunately DH was getting fed up. I did mange to purchase a couple of patterns which I will share with you on my return to Australia. We leave here at 11.30 pm tomorrow night to fly home.

Visit to USA

As some of you may know I have just spent the last three weeks with Susan my daughter and family. During that time she gave me a tutorial on how to blog and how to add pictures. At this time I do not have any pictures to share with you, but I hope to have some when i return to Australia at the weekend. Whilst with Susan I started a new project, not that I got much done but I will be on to it as soon as I settle back home.
